Defoliant use in the El Yunque Rainforest

Drinking waters for Vieques, Culebra Roosevelt Roads and other areas. This is the path used by the Electric Authority above Naguabo. The path crosses the Rio Icacos, Rio Sabana, and Rio Prieto which in turn feed into the Rio Blanco.

The path through the El Yunque rainforest before it was sprayed by defoliants. Lovely to walk on. This path runs through both private and Federal land. The Electrical Authority only has only the 'rights of usage' of the path, to tend to their water system and pipelines.

They make hydroelectric electricity from the water rushing down the pipeline, down to the tiny town of Florida. A nice way to make electricity so why ruin it with the destruction of the clean waters and vegetation of the forest?
