This beach hotel in Puerto Rico is located in the town of Luquillo which is 45 minutes east of San Juan and 10 minutes from Farjardo, 15 minutes from the Vieques/ Culebra ferry dock. There are many good restaurants both in Luquillo and within a 10 minute drive. The Fajardo bioluminescent lagoon is 20 minutes away. As in most locations outside San Juan, you will need a rental car to stay here and be able to get around.

During reasonably calm weather you can swim across the street. When the ocean is rough, you must walk 2 blocks to the point, where the beach is protected by reefs and therefore calm. The famous Luquillo Balneario ( 'public beach with facilities - very calm ) is a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive..
