Robin Phillips is a knowledgeable guide and the owner of Phillips Family Cabins. Very buget minded. He's standing below a dam on the Rio Icacos. Bamboo, giant tree ferns and Sierra palms typify the vegetation at this altitude, in the rainforest, below the dwarf forest.
To the right is one of the many waterfalls on the path below Casa Cubuy and Casa Flamboyant. Just below these falls is the largest of the pools, great to swim in.
